Mission

The Nebraska Air National Guard is comprised of the 155th Air Refueling Wing and Joint Force Headquarters Air Component in Lincoln and the 170th Group at Offutt Air Force Base in Bellevue. The 155th ARW employs the Boeing KC-135R for worldwide air to air refueling and transportation of passengers. In FY 2011, the KC-135s flew a total of 4,753 hours. The 170th GP at Offutt AFB augments the active duty 55th Wing with skilled personnel to support worldwide reconnaissance, treaty monitoring and command and control flying missions.
