Nebraska National Guard Strengthens Disaster Response Readiness
Nebraska Army National Guard Soldiers cut and prepare lumber to construct an alternate entrance to a simulated disaster site during a disaster response exercise in Yutan, Nebraska, Sept. 2, 2026. The training challenged Soldiers to safely create access points into a damaged or obstructed structure, allowing search and extraction teams to reach and recover casualties during a large-scale emergency response.
